My Dad and I had two of the best days fishing we have ever had--and we have fished in some of the best waters in the USA. Our guides were terrific and the waters were superb. Our first day on Penn's Creek yielded fish after fish that barely fit in a 24 inch net. My Dad, an active 75-year-old lifetime angler, landed a 26-27 inch rainbow that must have weighed 6 or 7 pounds after an action packed 15 minute light tippet battle. Our guide, Bernie (who has fished all over the world), said that the fish was the biggest trout he had ever seen, and I believe him. He was also an excellent teacher and gave me some tips that really improved my drifts. We spent our second day on Spruce Creek that. Our guide for the second day, Dave, was also wonderful. He knew the waters, changed up tactics to suit the different sections of the creek we worked, and put us onto some beautiful fish. My best catch of the day was a beautiful big brown that I managed to coax up to the surface with a caddis on deep slow water after a day of nymphing. I love that kind of hit, where you have to wait for the fish to emerge from the deep and hold your set until the last possible minute.
Overall, the trip was superb. Thanks to you and the folks at Logan for being so professional, organized, and knowledgeable. I would recommend your service to anyone I know. I've already got my eye on some additional dates, so you will no doubt be hearing from me again.

Two of us enjoyed a wonderful day with Logan Outfitters on April 10, 2007. Despite chilly conditions, the morning was successful and a Blue Wing Olive hatch made the afternoon spectacular! We caught at least a half a dozen trout in the 18 - 22 inch range. I doubt there is better fishing anywhere east of the Mississippi and it rivals most areas west of the Mississippi. I look forward to a return trip in June!

In three days, I fished three different streams and caught many fish in the 17” to 19” range. At least ten were over 20” and two fish were over five pounds! The guides did a great job.

We had great fishing each day on Spruce Creek, the Little Juniata, and Elk Creek. We caught many browns and rainbows from 18” to 21”. The fishing was fantastic!
