You don't have to travel to British Columbia for world class steelhead fishing. Some of the best steelhead fishing around is in Pennsylvania and Ohio, on Lake Erie tributaries. We have private access on three different streams in this area, and the fishing is incredible. On a recent trip (11/14/06) one of our anglers had over 25 hook-ups and 15 fish to the net. Most of these fish were caught sight fishing nymphs and egg patterns to pods of fish. The largest weighed 10 pounds and in recent weeks we have caught fish up to 14 pounds. Many of these fish were dime bright and fresh from the lake - landing them was a challenge! In eight hours of fishing on two of our private stretches we did not see another fisherman. The solitude made the experience even more amazing, considering that Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo are within a two-hour drive.

All our steelhead fishing is guided, fly fishing only and catch and release. Weather permitting, there is good fishing for the fall run fish all winter into April, with a spring run on the Ohio water which usually includes some larger fish. Our guides know the water well and are ready to put you over some fish.
