Through a special arrangement with private preserves, we offer outstanding wing shooting. There are over 400 acres of quality cover dedicated to pheasant and chukar shooting. Our primary location is in an upland valley surrounded by stands of mature trees and forested ridges. One full day of wing shooting is available as part of our three day package from September through April, based upon two hunters and including shells, bird cleaning, dog handler and dog.

Cast & Blast Special for Two* - call for availablilty

The Cast & Blast Special includes a half day bird hunt, a half day of unguided fishing on some of the better local public water and a full day of guided fishing on our private water.

Hunts take place on our hunting grounds near Spruce Creek. This is a private farm with fields managed exclusively for bird hunting. The half day hunt includes handler, dogs, shells, bird cleaning and vacuum packing, gun cleaning after the hunt and refreshments. Tip for handler is not included.

This is a 26 bird hunt (10 pheasants and 16 chukar). Hunts with more birds are available at extra cost, please call for details.

For the half day of unguided fishing we will direct you to the best available local public water, including areas which can only be easily accessed through our private property. We will give you directions and advice on what flies to fish. This is some of the best public water in the Pennsylvania.

For the full day of guided fishing you will fish on our private water. All fishing is fly fishing only, catch and release. We will put you on the best available water. The streams we fish include Penn's Creek, Spruce Creek, Yellow Creek, the Little Juniata and others. As these are all Limestone streams with an average temperature of 50 degrees you can expect good fishing through the fall and early winter.

Lunch is included. Gratuities, taxes, shop purchases and licenses are not included. The package does not include lodging or dinner, but we will help you out with suggestions for both.

The cost for this package is $1470, or $735 per person. This is a substantial savings over our normal pricing.

Half Day Field Hunts

All half day field hunts include handler and dogs, shells, cleaning and vacuum packing of harvested birds, gun cleaning after hunt, snacks and soda in the field (everything but the tip for the handler.) An extensive list of upgraded bird processing options is available for an additional fee based on processing options chosen.

Maximum of 4 hunters per handler

26 bird hunt (10 pheasants 16 chukar) $875

If more than 26 birds are harvested during your hunt they will be priced at $30 per pheasant and $19 per chukar includes cleaning and vacuum packing.

39 bird hunt (15 pheasants 24 chukar) $1,200

If more than 39 birds are harvested during your hunt they will be priced at $29 per pheasant and $18 per chukar includes cleaning and vacuum packing.

52 bird hunt (20 pheasants 32 chukar) $1,575

If more than 52 birds are harvested during your hunt they will be priced at $28 per pheasant and $17 per chukar includes cleaning and vacuum packing.
