Streamside Camps
Penn's Creek Lodge
Penn’s Creek Lodge features private access water, close proximity to Penn’s Creek and a great location for fishing Spring Creek, the Little J and other area streams. If you’d like to spend a week sampling some of Pennsylvania’s best streams, this is the spot for you.
The Lodge is located between Milheim and Coburn at the Junction of Pine Creek and Elk Creek. The camp has complete cooking facilities and space for 6 anglers. Linens and towels are provided. Guests provide their own food, cooking, and housekeeping. The Lodge is a smoke free facility.
Along with this property comes a small but productive stretch of private access water on Elk and Pine creeks, right next to the house. This water holds some extremely large browns. Some of the best fly fishing on Penn’s Creek begins at Coburn where Elk empties in, and this fabled fly fishing only/catch and release water is a short drive from the lodge. Other nearby streams include Spring Creek in State College, Fishing Creek in Lamar and others. The Little Juniata, with over 11 miles of Trophy Trout regulation water is less than an hour away. You could not begin to fish all the available water in a week.
Note that all fishing is fly-fishing only, catch-and-release. A valid PA fishing license is required for all anglers.
